HI THERE! I’m Kyle Brace.

I’m an actor, singer, photographer, and storyteller based in New York City. I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, where I was bit by the “theatre bug” at a young age; spending much of my time performing at local community theaters. I left my hometown after high school and went on to receive my BFA in Musical Theatre from Otterbein University; a private college near Columbus, Ohio. Stanislavsky, Linklater, Shakespeare, and Fitzmaurice voice work were just some of the many areas focused on during my collegiate studies. I attended dance classes five days a week, and as part of the curriculum, even had the opportunity to intern with the Press Office at Lincoln Center Theater during my senior year.

You may have seen me in the National Tours of South Pacific (Bass Soloist/Ensemble) and An American in Paris (Ensemble). Other favorite credits include productions of Jersey Boys with Theatre By The Sea, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, and The Springer Opera House (Nick Massi); Forestburgh Playhouse’s production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Low Righteous Brother); The Music Man (Oliver Hix) with Gulf Coast Symphony; Oklahoma! (Jud Fry), Snoopy!!! (Charlie Brown) with Otterbein Summer Theatre; Chicago (Billy Flynn), Big Fish (Karl the Giant), Sweeney Todd (Sweeney Todd), Rumors (Officer Welch) at Otterbein University.

In addition to performing, I love photography and helping other actors capture their uniqueness through a lens. I first started messing around with a camera in high school, and quickly taught myself all of the intricacies of my equipment. For over 8 years, I’ve worked with a camera professionally, owning and operating Kyle Brace Photography. My photography clients have gone on to book national tours, productions at regional theaters throughout the country, and even Broadway’s The Lion King.
